History
The Steel Engineering Development Company is a limited liability company whose shares are solely owned by MIS Khalifa Juma Al Nabooda and Abdulrahman Saif Al Ghurair. Established in the U.A.E in 1981, SED was setup to develop and provide custom manufactured lift and escalator finishes for the burgeoning high-end real estate development projects in the Middle East region. Over the decades, SED has remained at the market forefront through continuous product innovation and exceeding client expectations. In recent years, SED has increased its product range to cater to the challenging demands from the construction industry by adding bespoke decorative and architectural metal works in its product portfolio.

The Design Team
Our Design teams are constantly required to adapt to specific customers’ needs offering challenging solutions and designs to take the project from conceptual design and the drawing board to reality using traditional materials together with the latest technology.

Design And Drawing Services
Today’s fast and competitive business environment requires that the manufacturing function of a company must be able to quickly adapt itself to new and integrated design changes. Our dedicated design and drawing services inturn provide design, shop and fabrication drawings and CNC programs for production.
Production Control
From conceptual design our Managers ensure the streamlined production and completion of our client’s orders. Our electronic production programs, together with CNC machines especially the fiber laser machine enables us to deliver our products on schedule with high end finishes.
Raw Materials
The range of all metal finishes specially stainless steel finishes are extensively chosen from the world’s finest quality is supplied.
Material Quality Control
All our materials are subject to various inspection at every stage of manufacture through to dispatch and installation.
